Growing, Growing, Growing, Let’s Talk About Our Boynton Beach Expansion!

Growing, growing, growing! Since our founding in 2002, UMI has grown into one of the largest wholesale suppliers of stone products in the Southeast. As the company continues to prosper, exciting changes are coming, starting with the expansion of our Boynton Beach location, which we anticipate being completed by the end of Summer 2019. Boynton Beach has been a part of the UMI family for 7 years, having been established in 2013. Since the beginning, Boynton Beach has strived to deliver superior quality products and service to our clients. Currently, this location is shipping hundreds of stone slabs daily, serving everywhere from Key West up to Melbourne. Now with the expansion of this location, we will be able to better serve our customers in this area.

When visiting our Boynton Beach design center, you can see stone applications first-hand and learn about the different stone options available with the help of our educated team members. The Boynton Beach expansion will allow for an additional 13,000 square feet of slab storage space, creating over 45,000 square feet of space to store unique and exotic slabs! Along with the additional square footage, we have added two new overhead cranes, for a total of 6 overhead cranes at this location. These cranes will allow us to transfer our slabs within the warehouse safely and efficiently.

Boynton Beach is home to a wide variety of countertop slab offerings including quartz, natural stone, porcelain, and recycled glass. Now between 3,500 and 4,000 more slabs can be housed at Boynton Beach thanks to the expansion space. One of the most highly requested surfacing materials to come out of Boynton Beach is Pompeii Quartz, which is manufactured under the exact specifications and standards of patented Breton Technology and features over 78 colors!

As we head into this second half of 2019, we are excited and looking forward to a bright future for UMI by continuing to grow, solidifying our position as the largest stone distributor in Florida.
