“Bringing my clients to UMI is an easy process and that is a huge factor in why I continue to bring them. I love that UMI has all the samples of the quartz and slabs of marble, quartzite, porcelains that are easy to see.” -Kari
Q: TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR BACKGROUND: WHEN DID YOU DECIDE YOU WANTED TO BE A DESIGNER?
A: I have known I wanted to be a designer since I was in elementary school. From growing up in a historic home to visiting The Biltmore in Asheville, NC, I was in love with beautiful interiors and architecture. I have been working professionally as an interior designer for the past 20+ years.
Q: WHAT STYLE DO YOU LIKE TO DESIGN THE MOST?
A: I always tell people that I became a Florida interior designer because I like so many styles. I have designed contemporary, traditional, coastal, Mediterranean …. It isn’t all “my style” but my goal is to create a beautiful home for the client in their style.
Q: WHAT PROJECT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?
A: I have worked on all types of projects: both residential and commercial, so it is hard to pick just one, but I am always proud/happy when a client tells me that they love their home
Q: WHAT DO YOU ENJOY DOING ON YOUR FREE TIME?
A: Free time?? Hahaha! Does that even exist for designers? Seriously, when I have free time, I love to play golf with my family. Other than that, reading is what I enjoy most in my free time.
Q: TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE PHOTOS YOU ARE ATTACHING, WHAT UMI PRODUCT IS FEATURED, STYLE, ETC.
A: I did this house for a builder just off Bayshore Boulevard. We knew that we wanted to use Pompeii quartz throughout because of the durability of the product, as well as the ease of maintenance for the homeowner.
Q: HOW CAN PEOPLE GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU IF THEY WOULD LIKE YOU TO DESIGN THEIR HOME?
A: The best way to get in touch with me is through my website contact page.
